Ecclesiastes 3:1 "There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens"
Just as there is; mango season, plum season, orange season etc. so to does God has timing and seasons that he allows certain things to happen to you.
Sometimes when things happen to us we wonder what we are doing wrong, or what we did to have this happen to us. When really and truly God is allowing things to happen to us, because it, according to his will for our lives, that we go through these times.
Jeremiah 29:11New International Version (NIV)11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares
the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
God has a plan, a plan that will not cause us any danger but it will be for our benefit. So if God has a plan, a plan where we would prosper and be good for us, why would we go and change His perfect plan? Just allow God and thrust Him. Acknowledge Him.
Proverbs 3:5-6 is one of my favorite verses
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, In all your submit to Him and he will make your paths straight."
This verse has gotten me through so many things that I can't see but by saying it over and over even when times are difficult I thrust God and allow him to direct my every part.
There is a song that is sung by JaesonMa called Life
There is a specific lines that says that at the end when your on your death bed you wanna know that you did everything you set out to do. You want to give it YOUR BEST. To give it your BEST is to enjoy what you are doing. Giving it all over to God. Acknowledging that God is the all supreme, the one who is in control of your LIFE.
When we die, we can't do anything again. And we all WILL die, because all come from dust and from dust we shall return. So doesn't it hint to you just a little bit that seeing at any point you will die you enjoy what you are doing ? And even better to ENJOY IT FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!
