Pslam 46:10 " He says " Be still and know than I am God"
Psalm 46:2-3 " Therefore we will not fear through the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea though it's waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging."
These things that are mention here sound very terrifying right. Imagine the mountains that protect us from hurricanes and tsunamis fall and and the middle of sea sank so that there is a hole and the island you are on is sinking? Now you may be thinking "Oh this is not gonna happen because it just sounds so impossible and It can't happen to me and maybe just maybe your saying what does this mountain have to do with me?" Well let me tell you this mountain has everything to do with you!
Some point of time in life we think that God is punishing us and that everything that is happening is because of God.
You may have got into an accident where you were wrong and the other person is taking you to court because you don't think you were wrong.
Or you may have lost your job.....or you may have lost money...or something that you need to make sure that your family eats and could survive.
You may have been taking an exam you didn't really study for and you failed?? and now your like "God Why Me!?!"
Maybe all these things happen to you on the same day same week.
You have family problems over and over and you got no peace because your tired, lonely, depressed.
Your life around you is a big entire storm and you have no umbrella to shelter you from it.
Well I tell you now! Thank God For Jesus ! Because through your storm He is with You always !!!
Just be still and know that He is God !!
Matthew 8:24 " Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was asleep."
Jesus Himself was in the middle of a storm literally....but while in the midst of the storm around Him what did He do ? He trusted God He had faith in His Heavenly Father to keep Him safe thru the storm.
So even though your storm may not look like a storm with rain, flooding and winds.
We all go through them But God is saying
Be still my Child and Know That I Am God !
!! He Is With You Through The Storm and He Will Never Leave You Nor Will He For Sake You!!
When The Oceans Rise and The Thunders Roar You Will Soar With Him Above The Storm !
I pray right now that what ever it is you are going through that God just intervene in your life. I pray that you faith will grow and that you will just trust in your Heavenly Father the Prince of Peace. I Pray that whatever it is that your worrying about be known to the Lord and that you get peace and rest in your soul. I pray that You lean on Him who gives Peace and Rest everyday of your life.
