Ecclesiastics 12:1
"Remember your Creator in the days of your youth before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say " I find no pleasures in them"
As young people we want to "live our lives to the fullest" and this may include going to parties, clubbing, drinking etc. Do what you want and having fun. But what sense does it make that when you do these things and God is not in it with you? Because yes you want to live your life to the fullest but ask yourself after I die where do I want to live my eternal life?
With God in every aspect of your life the troubles of this world will fade away and you will be at peace when darkness and hard times come because you know the Creator who will keep you.
Solomon wrote in the book of Ecclesiastics that everything in this world is meaningless unless we have God in it. If we have all the money in the world but don't have God you will be bitter, lonely, depressed, you don't know TRUE LOVE. All the nice car, money, clothes everything will fade away when you die.
As Christians we could have clean, holy fun. Find ways to spend time with your friends, family, members in church but at the same time have GOD at the center. It doesn't mean you have to talk about God 24/7 but keeping your conversations clean, keeping what you do and your actions holy and acceptable unto God.
Pray about it....
Keep GOD FIRST !!
Today I declare that you draw closer to God and that you seek Him first in everything that you are doing. May His Love come and wrap around you so that you don't need to find Love in the things of this world. Every step that you make may you keep God at the center of it all.
May you keep HIM in your conversation, work, school every aspect of your life so that you if the things of this world fade away YOU KNOW FOR SURE YOU STILL HAVE HIM.
