"My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him" (Psalm 62:5 KJV)
In today's society we depend and our trust in things and people. We depend on people to do things for us and we expect that they do exactly what we want and when we want it. Therefore, we put our thrust in MAN and MAN MADE things. Things that have no use to us when we die that is what we put our thrust in.
The only reason that I can say this is because I to have put my thrust in Man and Man made things. Things that have no use to me. Things that cannot save me. Things that don't give me life. What I did learn however is why do I put 100% thrust in man but in God I only thrust Him 80%.
When I enter a room to take a exam I say God I thrust you but next thing I fail?
or when you enter a taxi or maxi....I say God I thrust that YOU will help me reach my destination but in the back of my mind I'm like but God next thing I don't get there?
I put my thrust in man...I admit that....and I'm not proud. But I know there are a lot of you that think the same way I think. Don't worry your not alone.
If you have ever realize that when we put our thrust in man...we either end up disappointed, broken, lonely, sadness enters our body, mind, soul. Don't worry your not alone I know what it feels because I to, as mentioned before have put my thrust in man.
But these are the things that happen when we put our thrust in man.
But when we put our thrust in GOD we are never disappointed,NEVER broken, NEVER hurt. All we have is Thrust in God and that HE will give us the best.

OUR ONLY EXPECTATION IS FROM HIM!
From God.
When we give God our 100% Trust and we only expect from Him and nothing else.
Psalm 62: 8 " Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah"
Pour out your heart to God.....Trust Him 100%
All the songs we sing in church or on our own are nothing if we don't mean what we say.
I give you all of.....I surrender all......all these songs are meaningless unless you Trust God 100% and depend on God alone.
There was a time when I was going through a really tough time in church, school, home it was all messed up. I kept lying to myself and saying God I trust you but in my mind I'm like...everything is going to fade away....It is just going to be broken.......I am just going to die and fall away......but then God called me and broke me down and said to me
"If you really trust and depend on me why are you still depending on the things of this world? Why are the things and worries of this world bothering you and hindering you from praising me? why don't you TRUST ME?
From then I know my thrust gotta be in God 100%
I know it's hard to get there and I am still getting there cause we all are still growing in Christ.
Everything I am disappointed and sad I look at where is my thrust.
Then I remember my trust is suppose to be in God almighty ALONE.
