In the month of November most people celebrate Thanksgiving. There are so many things to give thanks for. Some of you give thanks for your family, kids, food, car, work and so much more. All these things are wonderful things to give thanks for because they are all "big things" in your life. But what about the little things in your life that you bypass everyday? Things like :
(a) Your sight
(b) Your hearing
(c) Your fingers
(d) Helping you to reach your destination safety.
(f) Breath of fresh air.
And so much more.
We give thanks for the big things or for things/ areas that we "HAVE" seen God working in our lives. But what about for the areas that we don't see Him working in as yet? Ever give God thanks in advance that HIS will be done?
Here are a few scripture readings on what the bible says about giving thanks to God.
1Chronicles 16:8 " Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people."
Psalm 26:7 "That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works."
Thanksgiving is a wonderful day and everyday of our lives should be Thanksgiving Day because everyday there is something new to give God thanks for.
Take this One Month Challenge.
Write down one thing you give God thanks for. Each day write down a NEW one and if you want you can put the reason why you are thankful. You can place the papers in a jar or write it in a list. At the end of the month read the list over and see all the goodness that God has blessed you with. You can write it at the beginning or at the end of the day. Ensure to write the day that this happened.

Monday 7th November, 2016
God I thank you the sun this morning. I have to travel and it is easier to travel when the sun is shinning than when it is hot. So Thank You Lord.
(a) Your sight

Give thanks for your arms, legs, fingers, eyesight.....Some persons don't have any of these things. We are fortunate to have it so let's give God thanks because we DO!
Give God thanks for the ability to worship Him freely! In certain places Christians has to hide to worship HIM.
Give God thanks for everything you have....for giving you a job so that you can have the money to buy clothes and food and whatever else your household needs. Some persons aren't as blessed as you are. So GIVE GOD THANKS ALWAYS!
And there is so much more.

It's simple. We forget that God gives us things to be thankful during the day so let's remember it and give HIM thanks.
